Komeco Bio is an organic fertilizer specially produced and only available for organic certified farms (for example Demeter of Skal certified).
A healthy soil is of crucial importance for growing crops. It is important to keep feeding the soil and to maintain its top condition. Komeco Bio will bring organic matter and other nutrients into the soil in a sustainable way.
Komeco Bio is a 100% organic fertilizer and produced using biological raw materials and composting technique. The pellets have an average N-P-K level of 3,5 – 3 – 2,5 and contain 60% organic matter. In addition the organic fertilizer Komeco Bio contains 1.3% Magnesium, 10% Calcium, different trace elements, humic and fulvic acids.
Structure and fertility
The organic matter in Komeco Bio provides an airy soil structure through which crops can root more deeply. In addition it improves the soil structure and -fertility. Komeco Bio ensures a balanced soil life with a rich addition of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and other elements such as magnesium, calcium and trace elements.
Water retaining capacity
The pellets have a high water retaining capacity up to three times its own weight. A poor soil looses moisture (rain) quickly because it washes away or evaporates. Komeco Bio prevent water from being wasted because the pellets retain water. By using the pellets the organic matter level of the soil will be brought up. As a result, less water will be wasted and thus saved on water consumption.
