• FERTISOL organic fertilizer for optimal working & healthy soil | KOMECO

PRODUCT SHEET

FERTISOL is an organic fertilizer that meets the environmental and health standards. The organic material consists largely of fulvic and humic acid structures and stimulates growth of micro-organisms that unlock the minerals present in the soil. Thus, minerals are gradually released to be absorbed by the plant roots. The raw material of FERTISOL is poultry manure. Raw materials are dried and sanitized during the composting production process (validation according to standard EU 1069/2009).

Proper fertilization with FERTISOL prevents symptoms of deficiency in the crops during the growing season. This positive effect of FERTISOL allows a considerable saving of mineral fertilizers. In addition, the environment benefits from reduced use of mineral fertilizers and salt formation in agricultural soils is reduced.

Besides these advantages, the use of FERTISOL stimulates the microbial activity in the soil. The organic matter in FERTISOL is broken down by the activity of micro-organisms in the soil into humic acids and amino acids. This process requires oxygen, and it draws air into the soil and makes it lighter. The presence of air, water and minerals in the soil is also important for the plants. Further on a spongy soil prevents suffocation of the roots.

FERTISOL is certified for use in organic agriculture (EEC standard 834/2007).

Instructions
We recommend to apply the pellets every year so the soil will receive an optimum (so called) plate of food. In this way it can rotate in the cropping plan and then every crop will benefit. We advise to spread yearly an average of 1,000 – 1,250 kg per hectare (which means 300 – 400 kg organic matter).

The pellets are easy to spread out with a fertilizer spreader. The pellets are applicable for every type of soil and all year round (with the exception of frost in the ground).

How does the pellet work after spreading?
The nutrients of FERTISOL will release slowly, making them available for the crop during cultivation. The pellets have thus a long-lasting effect and high effectiveness. Around 60% of the nitrogen will be released during the crop cycle. The rest is retained in organic matter and will be released later on. In case of potassium more than 90% will become available shortly for the crop. The availability of phosphate increases by 33%. Phosphate is an element that reacts easily with other elements in the soil and is quickly captured. The application of FERTISOL not only increases the availability of nutrients, but also the trace elements. For Calcium, 60% is released within the first three months and for magnesium, this is 100%.

Please note that the release of nutrients and trace elements is also depended of temperature and humidity.
